Edapollo's intricate samples, vocal chops and manipulated guitar are harmonised into a beautiful swirling mush of sound in this pulsating Four Track EP.

Italian producer Indian Wells produces this mysterious and intriguing effort coated with bass heavy droning and textures. The vocals float in and out like creating a dream like haziness but the drum programming has such great composition and progression, it's enough to give you a good energy throughout.

For whatever reason it has become increasingly hard to find (very) good Indie Rock, but Ages ticks all the right boxes, it's laid back, reflective and sometimes playful. The Girl With The Gun's Lo-Fi sound is so warm and inviting, you just want to crawl into it and drift away with it's swooning melodies.

A lovely Two track release that serves as a great introduction to what Bad Panda are likely offer sonically, original, fun, warped and far from conventional.

After discovering Bad Panda Records a year or so ago, they have quickly become one of my go to labels for new releases, consistently putting out interesting and thoughtful left field music that always sounds fresh and unique.

This extraordinary effort from Populous combines African rhythms, energetic synthesiser patterns and sometimes Trap style bass to weave this unique album together. No doubt helped by features from Cuushe, DJ khalab, Clap! Clap!, Giorgio Tuma and Digi G'Alessio you are left with a consistent album with something for everybody. One of my favourite releases of this year with incredible artwork to match.
